Next Tough Question: We Answer it!

How do I show my friend about Christianity when he doesn’t want to hear it?

We must show Him to the world by how we love one another. We can share what we know, but if it is rejected, we must not intrude. We must also keep in mind that God is sovereign. He already knows the end from the beginning. Though He graciously invites and allows us to participate in His eternal purposes, we hold no ultimate authority in these things.

Romans 8:28-30
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified."

I believe the key word in your question is “show”. We are called to be “witnesses” and to “testify”. Just like in a court of law, our talk and our actions reflect what we’ve seen or experienced. Here’s my warning; If you want to be taken seriously, this shouldn’t be just a method of getting your friend “saved”. However if you are daily spending time with the Lord and His Word and His power are constantly impacting your life, your friend will be “shown”. Also I don’t believe that your friend can any less expect you to not talk about something so amazing any more than he (or she) would expect you not to talk about a boyfriend or girlfriend because it offends.

Acts 4:18-20 (The Message)
They called them back and warned them that they were on no account ever again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John spoke right back, "Whether it's right in God's eyes to listen to you rather than to God, you decide. As for us, there's no question—we can't keep quiet about what we've seen and heard."
